You'll operate a cargo van extended version/high roof, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise and driving techniques will drive our success forward, offering you a rewarding career on the open road. This position is paid, recognizing the vital contribution you make to our operations. Responsibilities Safely operate COMPANY's cargo van with automatic transmission across long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with company standards Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety protocols Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid (Non-CDL) driver's license with a clean driving record Must have a smartphone for navigation & proof of delivery. Must pass a background check and drug screen (if required) Be able to drive local and regional routes Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving load & unload activities Knowledge of safety standards related to trucking, including DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules Strong communication skills for effective route coordination and customer interaction This position requires you to sleep in cargo van during long hauls, on the road, and/or while waiting for a load Embark on a fulfilling career that keeps you moving!
