AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and/or access concerns. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or public spaces to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disorderly conduct while maintaining a professional presence. Support government location operations by following post orders, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and assisting with crowd management, directions, and other security-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
