AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observed conditions according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or unusual incidents in a clear and timely manner. Support emergency response activities, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic when needed, and communicate with site contacts and local responders during incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience are required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
