AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, verifying credentials, assisting with visitor directions, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and readiness while handling security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

CPO certification is required. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
