As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Largo, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following post orders and applicable protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and document security-related incidents, patrol findings, and/or operational concerns in required logs and reports. Work closely with site personnel, law enforcement representatives, and/or emergency responders when needed to support orderly operations and appropriate incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
