In this pivotal role, you will oversee security operations, manage a team of security personnel, and ensure the safety of the premises through vigilant surveillance and proactive conflict management. Your expertise in law enforcement, military experience, or security will drive effective loss prevention and emergency response efforts. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Security Post Captain or Security Supervisor . This role requires a leader who can confidently manage a team of 10+ security officers , maintain strong client relationships, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and appearance. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and support a team of 10+ security officers Maintain excellent client relations and serve as the primary point of contact Ensure all officers follow company protocols, community rules, and Florida security statutes Conduct post inspections, performance evaluations, and incident reviews Prepare and submit daily activity reports, incident documentation, and supervisor logs Assist with scheduling, training, and corrective action when needed Maintain a well‑groomed, neat, and professional appearance at all times Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish Minimum Requirements 5+ years experience as a Security Supervisor or Post Captain Must be bilingual (English & Spanish) Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large team Knowledge of Florida Statutes for Security Officers (Chapter 493) Valid Class D Security License (Class G preferred but not required) Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Professional grooming: low‑cut, well‑maintained appearance Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $20/hr $1 raise after 1 year of consistent, high‑quality performance Opportunities for advancement within the company Duties Supervise and coordinate daily security operations, ensuring all procedures are followed with enthusiasm and professionalism Lead a team of security officers, providing clear direction, training, and motivation to maintain high performance standards Conduct comprehensive surveillance using CCTV systems, performing regular visual inspections and fence checks to deter unauthorized access Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of thorough screening processes Respond swiftly to incidents or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills and law enforcement techniques to de-escalate situations Execute emergency procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and use of Taser when necessary to ensure safety Manage heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during equipment or asset movement while maintaining safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems Bilingual fluency in two languages to effectively communicate with diverse teams and visitors Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and performing background checks for personnel or visitors Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, and conflict management are highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining alertness during long shifts Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict effectively Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and security challenges Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is prioritized through energetic leadership, comprehensive training, and innovative security practices.
