AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an auto auction location. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries entering or leaving the property. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through the appropriate chain of communication. Conduct regular and random patrols around vehicle lots, office areas, entry gates, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Assist with traffic flow at entry and exit points, support orderly movement of customers, staff, and transport personnel, and complete required logs and reports related to daily activity.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
