Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure safety through vigilant surveillance, proactive conflict management, and quick response to incidents. You will be the first line of defense, maintaining a secure environment while providing excellent service to visitors and staff alike. Your dedication will help foster a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to emergencies by implementing first aid procedures or coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary Conduct patrols around the facility to identify potential hazards, security vulnerabilities, or loss prevention opportunities Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous for quick decision-making under pressure Skilled in conflict management with the ability to remain calm and assertive in tense situations Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and inventory shrinkage Ability to operate security equipment such as alarm systems, access control devices, and CCTV cameras effectively Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Embark on a rewarding career where your vigilance makes a difference!
