As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Guided by a caring culture and values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations.

Hour Job Schedule:
The exact schedule for this role has not been determined. That is common for this type of position and may depend on pre-hire steps that take time which could include the onboarding and training processes. If hired, your manager will work with you to determine your schedule based on business needs and your availability.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other restricted areas, helping to control access, verify authorizations, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior. Support daily operations by completing required logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and/or assisting with directions and general assistance for employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
