Security Officer (Gate attendant) Night shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and professional Gate Attendant Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our clients, residents, and visitors by enforcing access control, monitoring activity, and responding appropriately to incidents. This role requires strong observational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with confidence. This is a position where you will often work alone for extended periods, including 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable making decisions in a solo work environment. You will also work closely with community management, so professionalism, communication, and teamwork are essential. Key Responsibilities:

Control access by allowing only authorized individuals to enter the premises Enforce community rules and regulations in a professional and respectful manner Monitor for and report suspicious activity to help maintain a safe environment Collaborate with community management regarding incidents, concerns, and daily operations Work with law enforcement when required during incidents or investigations Accurately document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in daily reports

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills Excellent observational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and confidently for 12-hour shifts Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred
