AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a government location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with post orders and location requirements. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Maintain visitor and/or vendor logs, issue temporary passes or badges when appropriate, and document security-related activities, observations, and access-related exceptions. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and identifying conditions that may require follow-up or emergency response activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
