Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer, where your vigilance and commitment will safeguard our facilities, personnel, and assets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your law enforcement experience, conflict management skills, and surveillance expertise in a fast-paced environment. As an integral part of our security operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive patrols, incident response, and detailed reporting. Your dedication to safety will help ensure the well-being of everyone on site while supporting the smooth operation of our organization. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved Write detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address security breaches or incidents Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security duties Valid certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in conflict management or report writing are a plus Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections Excellent conflict resolution abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure Knowledge of security procedures, laws, regulations, and emergency response protocols Ability to stand, walk, or remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings Demonstrated ability to write clear, comprehensive reports documenting incidents and observations Join us as an Armed Security Officer and be part of a team dedicated to creating a secure environment where safety is prioritized.
