Job Description

Looking for Armed Officers for multiple open patrol positions.
FLUENCY IN ENGLISH IS A MUST
MUST HAVE CLASS G STATEWIDE FIREARMS
•Must have own reliable transportation and a valid up to date Driver's License. Must have a valid
Class G:
Statewide Firearms License (Red Card) Conceal Carry License not accepted•Must have own acceptable duty equipment to include but not limited to: Duty Firearm and minimum Level 2 Retention holster.•
Security Officers Responsibilities:
Follow post orders Complete online reports via computer or tablet Foot Patrols Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies Respond to emergencies, such as medical, bomb threats, fire, and intrusion by following emergency response procedures Ability to handle daily and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at the client's site Provide direction and assistance to tenants and authorized visitors on the property. Notify dispatch and local law enforcement for suspicious activity and unauthorized tenants on the premises. Be aware of theft, fire, and water leaks throughout the property. Provide excellent customer service to tenants/ residents Ability to stand extended periods of time throughout the day/ night •
IMPORTANT
• While performing the basic functions of this position, the employee may be regularly required to handle extensive standing, stooping, walking, use of hands to feel or handle objects, reach with arms, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This function will also involve the intermittent performance of extremely physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, running, climbing, and the lifting, pushing, manipulation of objects in excess of 25 pounds. Some job tasks may involve the intermittent exposure to the elements including heat, cold, humidity, inclement weather, loud noise, toxic/chemical agents, electrical currents, pathogens, violent behavior, weapons, explosives, animals, and traffic. Tasks may include working around moving parts, vehicles, equipment, carts, and general situations where heightened awareness to surroundings and environment is essential to the preservation of life or property.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE
D AND G License.
MUST HAVE
Own Duty weapon and minimum Level 2 (Not Concealed) and a duty belt.
MUST HAVE
At least one less than lethal duty item i.e. "OC Spray, Baton, Taser" Clean Criminal History and the ability to pass
FDLE & FBI
Background check. Must have a valid up to date Driver's License with no more than 2 moving violations within the last 5 years and/or no more than 1 DUI within the last 10 years. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Be able to work Flexible Hours. Must complete any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing. Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors. Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public. Effective oral and written communication skills. Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively. Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately. Attention to detail. Ability to work well with others and be an effective team member After 120-days potential for advancement
