AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related policy compliance. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive equipment spaces for unusual activity, reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through proper channels. Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws while performing assigned patrol and incident response duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
