Unarmed Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, owners, residents, and visitors. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, excellent judgment, and a commitment to public safety. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism Conduct regular surveillance of property both on foot patrol and LSV. Monitor ingress/egress points and all Common Elements for trespassers and conduct security checks for said areas throughout shifts Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified Enforce facility policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor Document incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activities and intervening appropriately Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism to de-escalate potential issues Requirements Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain certifications if not already held Ability to be personable and friendly during stressful interactions Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly Excellent observational skills with attention to detail Ability to remain alert during long shifts and stand for extended periods Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
