As a Security Officer Armed Association Mobile in Pembroke Pines, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to property management and/or local authorities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and address policy violations, trespassing concerns, and/or resident complaints in accordance with site guidelines. Support after-hours coverage by observing surroundings, checking for unusual conditions such as unsecured doors or gates, and communicating security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, corrections or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card. Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
