PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Screen visitors, employees, and/or contractors as they enter the location, checking identification, credentials, and permitted items in accordance with post orders and agency guidelines. Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Monitor entry points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report security-related concerns through the appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be 21+ years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
