Job Description As a Security Officer Deterrence Patrol in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with location rules and security-related procedures. Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious conditions observed during patrols so the appropriate site personnel can address them in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
