This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your law enforcement, surveillance, and conflict management skills in a fast-paced environment. As an Armed Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring safety through proactive monitoring, quick response to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment for everyone on site. Your dedication and professionalism will help uphold our commitment to safety and security excellence. Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols throughout all building levels Monitor staircases, hallways, elevators, and exterior areas Maintain visibility in parking lot and campus grounds Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns Ensure only authorized students and staff remain on campus Complete required Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation Maintain a professional presence and remain alert at all times Experience Prior experience in security services, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous Strong understanding of conflict management strategies and emergency response procedures Ability to remain calm under pressure while effectively managing challenging situations Knowledge of security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and legal regulations relevant to armed security operations Shift Mon-Thurs 4pm-10pm $19hr Join us in creating a safe environment where safety is our top priority!
