Armed Security Officer, 2nd Shift

) is seeking a Full-Time experienced Armed Security Officer for immediate hire. General areas of responsibility include authorizing entrance into facility, patrolling facility, and responding to alarms. The 2nd shift is Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

Specific responsibilities include:

Performs security patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates Patrol facility on foot and/or in a vehicle Protects property from theft, sabotage, fire and accidents by monitoring premises through direct observations and surveillance software/equipment Answer alarms and investigate disturbances Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other personnel Prevent passage of prohibited articles and personnel into restricted areas Operates metal detector equipment Professionally interact and communicate with employees and visitors Write reports of daily activities and irregularities

Requirements:

Class D Security Officer License and Class G Statewide Firearm License required Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Valid FL Driver's License in good standing Ability to stand, walk, sit throughout day Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age About Us LRLV Security LLC provides security service for a third-party private collectibles company in the Lakewood Ranch area.
