3pm to 11pm Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Afternoon Security Guard to uphold safety and security standards during the late afternoon and evening hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities Patrol designated areas regularly to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and identify potential security breaches or suspicious behavior. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors. Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary. Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including fences, gates, and emergency exits, to ensure security measures are intact. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes. Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying potential theft or misconduct and taking appropriate action. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations professionally. Ability to remain alert during extended periods of standing or walking; physically fit to perform patrol duties. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols is a plus.
