This role sits within the Special Air Missions Group
What Youll DoLead and manageIndustrial,Personnel,Physical,Operations,Communications, andInformationSecurity programs supporting classified ISR operations across multiple domestic and international operational locations.
Establish, implement, standardize, andmaintainsecurity policies, procedures, plans, and compliance programsin accordance withDepartment of Defense (DoD), NISPOM, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Linemanagean FSO, providing leadership, guidance, standardization, training, mentorship, and operational support across all locations and programs.
Conduct and oversee security assessments, inspections, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews for classified facilities, systems, personnel, and operational activities.
Establish and manage processes foridentifying, documenting, investigating, reporting, and resolving security incidents, violations, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues.
OverseePhysicalSecurity programs, including access control, alarm systems, visitor control, badging, classified storage, facility accreditation, and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations.
Oversee and support Communications Security accountability programs, classified material controls, security documentation, and associated inventory management processes.
Ensure security education, awareness, indoctrination, and recurring training programs areestablished, maintained, delivered, and documented for personnel supporting classified operations.
Oversee and support security administration activities, including Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), Defense Information Systems for Security (DIAS), Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), Letter of Authorization (LOA), and Common Access Card (CAC) management activities.
Coordinate withFlight Operations,Maintenance,ContinuingAirworthiness,Supply Chain & Logistics, File Management, government representatives, and site personnel to ensure security requirements support operational effectivenessandmission execution.
Monitor enterprise security posture, assess operational and regulatory risk, and recommend corrective actions and security improvements to organizational leadership.
Support government inspections,mission partnerengagements, audits, incident response activities, and regulatory interactions associated with classified operations and facilities. What Youll BringStrong knowledge of the NISPOM, Department of Defense security requirements, and applicable federal security regulations and directives.
Knowledge and practical experience withIndustrial,Personnel,Physical,Operations,Communications, andInformationSecurity programs supporting classified environments.
Experience supporting ISR, aviation, maintenance, government contracting, or deployed operational environments.
Experience leading security assessments, inspections, audits, investigations, incident response activities, and corrective action programs.
Experience managing classified facility operations, security documentation, COMSEC accountability, access control systems, and SCIF requirements.
Experience managing or overseeing DISS, NBIS, NISS, DIAS, SPOT, LOA, and CAC administrative processes.
Understanding ofcurrent security threat identification, risk assessment, mitigation, investigative techniques, and Operations Security principles.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple operational locations and functional teams.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and electronically, with operational personnel, senior leadership, government representatives, and external agencies.
Ability to work independently and provide leadership in dynamic classified and unclassified operational environments supporting both CONUS and OCONUS operations.
