About the Role Join the team at Integrated Protective Solutions, Inc., a premier Central Florida security company serving residential communities, country clubs, and exclusive properties. We're looking for professional, service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers who understand that great security is about more than vigilance — it's about making every resident and guest feel safe, respected, and welcomed. In this role, you'll be a frontline presence: monitoring premises, managing visitor access, enforcing community protocols, and responding swiftly when it matters most. We select our officers not only for their security skills, but for their guest relations instincts and ability to represent our clients' communities with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while verifying identification and managing authorized access Conduct mobile and foot patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify security risks Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity Utilize mobile visitor management software to accurately log and approve guest entry in real time Respond calmly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies using sound conflict resolution techniques Provide first aid or CPR when needed during medical emergencies Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and security documentation Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding strict security protocols What You'll Need Valid Florida Security D License (required) At least 21 years of age Verifiable work history — security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred Strong situational awareness and sound judgment Fluent English — spoken, written, and read Basic computer proficiency (CCTV systems, email, mobile apps) Professional, clean-cut appearance Ability to stand and remain alert throughout your shift Reliable transportation and a clean, valid U.S. driver's license No Class A or B misdemeanors within the last ten years Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Preferred Experience 1+ year in security or customer service Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control protocols, or loss prevention Training in conflict management, emergency response, First Aid, or CPR Shifts Available We're hiring for multiple shifts — find the schedule that works for you:
