Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service Conduct regular patrols to ensure a secure environment Monitor buildings and amenities Surveillance Equipment Surveillance access points Enforce property regulations and safety precautions Provide a visible presence that deters illegal activities Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Prevents losses and damage by reporting: Irregularities, informing violators of policies provides CT's to trespassers monitors premises for any violence or infractions Preserves order and able to identify and resolve any situation Reports any facility issues Completes reports by reporting observations and activities Required Job Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Current/valid Georgia Driver's License and an insurable driving history Reliable transportation Must be able to pass drug screening Able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard before end of probationary period Conduct duties in a safe and timely manner Complete end of shift reports One-year security experience, military, or law enforcement-a plus Ability to speak, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions. Possesses writing skills to complete daily, incident, accident, and investigative reports. Public relations skills necessary to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner. Must be able to accept responsibility, manage authority and maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.
