AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions. Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or drivers entering and leaving the location, following post instructions for screening, credential checks, and documentation. Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic zones, and communicating security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
