RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform security patrols of build grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter and exit the build Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required

QUALIFICATIONS

(MUST HAVE): High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry (preferably security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, or corrections) Must be at least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication skills Problem solving skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Write informatively, clearly, and accurately Attention to detail
