Security Officer (Unarmed)

We are seeking qualified and vigilant individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Guards. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a strong sense of integrity, the ability to work with a team, customer service, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally. To succeed as a security officer, you should be highly observant and able to assess a situation's severity objectively. An outstanding security officer should be able to remain calm and decisive in any situation.

AM Responsibilities :

Surveillance and Monitoring :

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security of the assigned area. Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities.

Access Control :

Actively informing patrons that no entry is allowed to the site after buisness hours. Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises and ensure they have the necessary authorization. Enforce access control policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Customer Service :

Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and clients within the scope of your post duties. Address and resolve conflicts or concerns diplomatically and professionally.

Emergency Response :

Respond promptly to emergencies, including but not limited to medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches. Follow established protocols for emergency situations and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.

Documentation :

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations via the company application. Prepare written reports on security-related incidents and submit them to the appropriate personnel.

Collaboration :

Collaborate with other security personnel and relevant stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy. Communicate effectively with team members to share information and coordinate efforts.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in security-related roles is preferred. Excellent observational and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Strong customer service orientation. Familiarity with basic security procedures and protocols. Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Additional Requirements :

Must pass a background check and drug screening. Completion of basic security training is a plus. Valid state-issued security guard license (if required by local regulations). Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
