Job Description

Security Guard -Night Shift Valdosta, GA 31601 Are you dependable, observant, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment? We are seeking a Security Guard to help protect our employees, visitors, facilities, and assets. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime and a chance to play a key role in supporting daily operations. What You'll Do As a Security Guard, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors while helping maintain a safe workplace.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and controlling access to company property Greeting and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors Conducting routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas Monitoring security cameras and responding to unusual activity Investigating and documenting incidents, safety concerns, and security violations Enforcing company policies and security procedures Communicating important information to management and emergency responders when needed Completing detailed reports of daily activities and incidents Helping ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for everyone on site What We're Looking For Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred Strong observation skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods Ability to write clear and accurate reports Why Join Us?
