Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Applicants must be organized, possess great communication skills, and have a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol property to ensure the safety and security of premises. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents. Enforce House Rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement when required and provide detailed reports on incidents. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles, guests and vendors on property. Qualifications/Requirements Must have Guard Card Certification (Act 208). Submit to a Pre-Employment Background and Drug Check. Must be able to keep legible and concise daily logs & reports as required. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work all weekends and holidays. Must be able to handle all physical duties of the job

Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications are a plus. Must be available to work following shifts: 12 a.m.

Pay Rate:

$17.00/hr. Medical and dental benefits after 30 days. Vacation and Sick Leave after 1 year of employment.
