This position is performed fully on campus.

Duties to include:

• Patrol campus buildings and assigned areas with a focus on access control, public safety, and student well-bring.
• Reporting discrepancies and hazards and notifying police as needed.
• Use of portable radio communication, body cameras, and departmental vehicles
• Use of vehicle camera system and small electronics.
• Traversing outdoors in all weather conditions.

Wage:

$18.72 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:30AM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM-12:30AM (Temporary employees limited to 29 hours per week/780 hours per fiscal year)

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license is required and ability to meet and maintain UI Driving Policy.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check Desirable Qualifications
• Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with the public that fosters good relations.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication skills, oral and written, to interact with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
