About the
Role:
The Security position at Honey Creek Resort is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests, staff, and property within the resort premises. This role involves proactive monitoring and rapid response to any security incidents, maintaining a secure environment that supports a positive guest experience. The Security team member will collaborate closely with management and local law enforcement when necessary to uphold safety standards and compliance with regulations. Through vigilant observation and effective communication, the role aims to prevent potential risks and address emergencies efficiently. Ultimately, this position contributes to the resort's reputation as a safe and welcoming destination for all visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field. Ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Basic knowledge of security operations and emergency response procedures. Strong observational skills and physical fitness to perform patrol duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in security training or first aid/CPR. Experience working in hospitality or resort environments. Familiarity with surveillance technology and alarm systems. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the resort grounds, buildings, and parking areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to identify and respond to security breaches or emergencies promptly. Assist guests and staff by providing directions, information, and support while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Document and report all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities accurately and in a timely manner to management. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to manage incidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Additionally, conflict resolution and first aid skills contribute to managing emergencies calmly and ensuring the safety and comfort of all individuals on the property.
