Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in West Des Moines, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to appropriate personnel according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting conditions that could impact daily operations. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting concerns in accordance with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2+ years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
