As a Security Officer
  • Patrol Driving Role in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role is ideal for someone with a valid driver's license who brings an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, values teamwork, and acts with integrity while supporting a people-first culture.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry, badge verification, and/or reporting of security-related concerns. Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and guests while helping to address questions, provide directions, and/or relay important information during routine operations or unusual events.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
