As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Bloomington, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site instructions, offering directions and assistance while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
