The Security Supervisor supervises the team of Security Officers. The Security Supervisors are responsible for the security functions of the property to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.Purpose:

The Security Team operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Supervisors may be required to work any shift to meet the needs of the operation and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization. Positions include weekend and holiday shifts.Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises and directs a security team at the Wind Creek Chicago Southland property ("property") Schedules the activities of a security team, ensuring appropriate coverage of the property Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action in accordance with the Expectation Guide Maintains an electronic log of incidents involving guests or employees and prepares additional detailed reports as may be required through the internal reporting system Prevents theft; Provides employee and guest escorts throughout the property Provides key control and radio communications Verifies gaming machine access and payouts Identifies all under-age patrons seeking to enter any Wind Creek Hospitality facility by requiring valid identification for any patron that appears under the age of 30 years of age Prevents access to the gaming floor for anyone under the age of 21 Monitors alcohol consumption and ensures that alcohol does not leave the property Oversees all aspects of guest and employee safety, including crowd control Reports employee violations of established policies and procedures, directives, and internal controls to upper management and the Illinois Gaming Board Controls initial on-scene command during emergency situations Ensures training assignments are completed for security and dispatch officers Disseminates information to security staff prior to assuming posts Communicates emergency procedures Patrols entrance/exit doors and controls crowd Responsible for the overall security operations in the absence of the Shift Manager and/or Director of Security In the absence of, or when directed by the Shift Manager or Director of Security, perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB statewide voluntary Self-Exclusion Program Other duties & responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements:
(please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment- required Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- required Associate's Degree in Related field
- required OR Two (2) years' Supervisory experience
- required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department
- required OR Two (2) years' experience in the hiring position's Department
- required AND successfully complete at a minimum of 80% pass rate basic Security Officer training program within sixty (60) days of employment
- required Minimum of five (5) years' experience in law enforcement, military, or other security capacity
- required OR three (3) years of security experience in a casino environment
- required Must be able to meet and maintain a departmental physical fitness standard
- required ; the security department may conduct a test that is comparable to the below requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs for a distance of 300 feet within 120 seconds Must be able to climb 4 flights of stairs in 80 seconds Must be able to run 350 ft in 90 seconds Annually re-test for all physical requirements Good writing and verbal communication skills

Base Pay:
Pay range: $20.30- $27.
