$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Position Summary STS Security, Inc. is seeking a dependable and professional Traffic Control Security Supervisor to oversee traffic control and security operations in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to assigned officers, ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic, and maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise Traffic Control Security Officers during assigned shifts. Ensure safe and efficient vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow. Conduct site inspections and monitor officer performance. Train, coach, and support security personnel. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns. Complete incident reports, daily activity reports, and shift documentation. Enforce company policies, site procedures, and safety regulations. Coordinate with management regarding staffing and operational needs. Maintain a professional presence and serve as the primary point of contact on-site. Assist with traffic direction during peak hours, special events, and emergencies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Illinois PERC Card required. Illinois 20-Hour Security Training Certificate required. Prior security experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Reliable transportation required. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to direct traffic and monitor large areas. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to remain alert and responsive in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Full-Time Position Monday - Friday Day Shift Occasional weekends or special event coverage may be required.
