Security Officer Mobile Patrol Division

Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Division Part time position with future fulltime potential We are seeking reliable and professional individuals to join our team as unarmed professional Security Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of clients' properties. Qualified candidates will be intelligent, courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Shifts include 2nd shift hours, with an end time up to 3:00 am. Preference will be given to qualified applicants with prior training and/or to those that currently possess an active PERC card.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine mobile patrols of assigned properties and locations to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Monitor for suspicious activity and security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents. Write detailed daily activity and incident reports. Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site rules.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to walk extended distances throughout your shift. Must be willing to work outdoors during inclement weather. Have a general knowledge of security procedures and the ability to work independently. Proficient written and oral communication skills Must be professional, punctual and have excellent people skills. Must be able to pass a strict background check including a fingerprint based criminal history check. Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) as issued by the IL Dept. of Professional Regulation - assistance in obtaining a PERC will be provided upon job offer acceptance. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
