You will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and managing conflict situations with professionalism and confidence. Responsibilities Loss Prevention Enforcement Monitor and patrol store premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activities. Conduct routine checks on inventory and report any discrepancies. Observe and investigate suspicious activities and take appropriate action to prevent loss.

Safety of Employees and Customers:

Maintain a visible presence in the store to ensure the safety of customers and employees. Respond promptly to any emergencies, disturbances, or incidents within the store. Provide assistance to customers and employees in need.

Handling Suspicious Activity :

Identify and address any suspicious behavior or activities. Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual occurrences to the Manager on Duty. Contact law enforcement and assist in the apprehension of suspects when necessary.

Customer Interaction :

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance, directions, and guidance to customers as needed. Escort customers out of the store if required, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Incident Reporting and Documentation :

Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents. Complete comprehensive incident reports promptly after any significant events. Submit incident reports to the Store Manager or General Manager for review. Compliance with

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to security duties. Follow protocols for handling emergencies and security incidents. Maintain confidentiality of all company information obtained during the course of duties.

Team Collaboration :

Work collaboratively with store staff to ensure a cohesive approach to security. Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and other team members Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to handle tense situations calmly Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
