Position:
Security Guard (Armed & Unarmed)
Type:
1099
Contractor Shifts:
Full-time, part-time, and flex scheduling
Compensation:
$20-$25/hr depending on assignment & experience
Hours:
Vary by client and site needs Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional and visible security presence Conduct foot and/or mobile patrols Monitor and report suspicious activity Enforce site policies and secure client property Perform access control and perimeter checks Document incidents and respond to emergencies Uphold the standards and mission of Unity K9 Protection Group Minimum Requirements Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred Strong communication and situational awareness Must hold or qualify for Illinois
PERC/CFTC
credentials Reliable transportation Professional appearance and demeanor Armed positions require FOID & firearm certification What We Provide Professional uniforms Strong leadership support Clear post orders for every assignment Opportunities for additional work and long-term placements A mission-focused culture built on respect, readiness, and excellence
