Pool Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Pool Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our aquatic facility. In this role, you will monitor pool areas, enforce safety rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies. Your presence will help create a safe, enjoyable environment for all guests by maintaining order, preventing incidents, and providing assistance when needed. Responsibilities Constantly monitor pool areas using CCTV surveillance systems and in-person patrols to ensure safety and security. Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent unsafe behavior and maintain a respectful environment. Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents or security threats, utilizing first aid and CPR skills. Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, including decks, locker rooms, and surrounding areas, to identify hazards or unauthorized access. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management techniques, de-escalating disputes effectively. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring additional support. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for future reference. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or loss prevention are a plus. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections. Ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally while enforcing rules and maintaining order. Knowledge of security procedures, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response protocols. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and emergency personnel.
