Patrol Armed Security Guards Needed

We are looking for motivated security professionals to immediately join our team. We are looking for armed officers for 8-hour shifts. Position Summary The Armed Patrol Officers are responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets through proactive patrols, rapid response, and visible deterrence. These roles serve as critical frontline representatives of the organization's security operations, responding to incidents, conducting site checks, and providing flexible support across multiple locations to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities Conduct Proactive Patrols:

Perform regular foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity, identify safety hazards, and ensure security standards are upheld. Respond to

Incidents and Emergencies:

React promptly to alarms, disturbances, or calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action according to established protocols.

Flexible Site Coverage:

As a flex officer, adapt to varied assignments and rapidly deploy to different sites based on operational needs, covering posts or patrol routes as required.

Perform Security Checks:

Inspect doors, gates, windows, and access points to ensure they are secure. Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals.

Support Communication and Coordination:

Maintain constant communication with dispatch, fellow officers, and the command center, providing updates and requesting backup when needed.

Document Activities and Incidents:

Complete accurate and detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and daily activity logs to support security operations and investigations.

Customer and Employee Interaction:

Provide a professional security presence, offering assistance or directions to employees, clients, or visitors as needed while enforcing site-specific rules. Assist with

Access Control and Escorts:

Verify credentials, control entry to restricted areas, and provide escorts for personnel or high-value assets to ensure safe movement within or between locations. Participate in

Drills and Training:

Attend routine weapons qualifications, emergency preparedness drills, and ongoing security training to maintain high levels of readiness.

Uphold Policies and Confidentiality:

Follow all company and client procedures, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and consistently represent the organization with integrity.

Shifts:

Armed - 8 hour shifts (AM & PM) The shift times and days may vary but you will know your schedule two weeks prior. Hourly rates from $18.00-20.00 Overtime and holiday pay The Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license A minimum of 1 year of security experience Previous experience in law enforcement or the military is a bonus. Prior experience in a command center, control room, dispatch, security operations, or similar environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
