Summary As a Resource Officer at Lebanon Community School Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our school community. Your expertise in law enforcement and conflict management will be crucial in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere where students can thrive. Pay range is $48,000 to $52,000 based on experience. Responsibilities Monitor school premises to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed. Collaborate with school administrators to develop safety protocols. Conduct surveillance and investigations related to school safety incidents. Provide conflict management support to resolve disputes among students. Educate staff and students on safety practices and emergency procedures. Requirements Certified Tier 1 Graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy is required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is essential. NASRO Basic SRO certification is prefered. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Understanding of immigration law is a plus but not mandatory.
