Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. A strong background in security practices, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Report any incidents or violations of security protocols to management in a timely manner. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud activities. Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents for review by management. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential security risks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
