Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across construction site facilities. Duties Monitor access at guard shack locations, surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting and record-keeping purposes Experience Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement roles is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies Background in military or security service enhances readiness for this role Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor Join us as a Security Officer and become an essential part of our commitment to safety!
