Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid drivers license. CPR Certified preferred or willing to attend company sponsored instruction. First Aid Certified preferred or willing to attend company sponsored instruction. Desire to work with the senior population. Drive the campus checking all out buildings and property. Security conducts door checks throughout the facility. Security responds to Emergency calls in all areas. Conduct Fire Checks and status on Fire Panels in all areas. Complete an activity log of events. Security staff our first responders for medical emergencies for Independent Residents. Security notifies Emergency agencies when assistance is needed. Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment. Read and follow all material safety data sheets (MSDS) and know the location of the MSDS information center. Follow the facility safety programs. Identify and report to supervisor any equipment in poor condition. Follow waste control procedures in accordance with facility policy. Attend all in-service training programs. Security staff observes infection control procedures related to all areas at Westminster Village. Observe "clean-as-you-go" habits. Resident and customer satisfaction Security ensures that customer satisfaction is met by doing quality work. Communicate in an efficient, yet warm and friendly manner.
