AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including support during medical-related emergencies and access concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help manage the flow of visitors, patients, and staff in accordance with site protocols, while reporting suspicious activity and/or policy concerns. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
