Lead Security Officer (Full-Time)

Summary Job Description:

Security is responsible for providing the physical protection of Baptist Health assets, including people, property, reputation, and information.

Lead Security Officer Full-Time, Second Shift Job Description:

Supervises other Security Officers and monitors work related functions during assigned shift. Enforces hospital regulations, provides a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors and employees. The Security Officer Leac will enforce hospital policies and security regulations through active monitoring and patrolling of Baptist property by continuously watching and reporting of potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences. As determined by supervisory personnel, the Security officer investigates complaints or potential criminal conduct; assists in restraining patients as necessary; provides protective services.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent One Year related Experience Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association within 90 Days Must obtain Aegis within 90 Days Must obtain Taser 7 certification within 90 Days Must obtain Basic & Advanced International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification within 6 months
