Position Summary The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by performing patrols, monitoring systems, and addressing security concerns in accordance with site protocols. General Duties Perform routine walking and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas (as applicable). Identify, address, and report security, safety, and maintenance concerns. Monitor surveillance systems and security cameras. Complete and maintain all required logs, reports, and documentation. Provide assistance, direction, and customer service to visitors and guests. Carry out site-specific duties as assigned by the client or supervisor. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull. Must be capable of performing light work (5-20 lbs) with occasional medium work (up to 50 lbs). May be exposed to hazardous conditions, noise, bright lights, extreme temperatures, dust, and odors. Education, Training, and Experience High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license required for positions involving vehicle patrol. Ability to safely operate company and/or client vehicles (if applicable). Additional Requirements Must pass pre-employment drug screening. Must be at least 18 years of age. No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions. Must be available for shift work, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
