Job Skills / Requirements Unarmed Security Officer - Houma, Thibodaux, Galliano & Lockport, LA Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional Unarmed Security Officers with strong customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team serving Houma, Thibodaux, Galliano, and Lockport, Louisiana .

Position Highlights Pay Rate:

$9.00 - $12.00 per hour Weekly Pay Daily Pay also available Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Training and Uniforms Provided Retirees and Veterans Encouraged to Apply Multiple Locations Across the Bayou Region Job Responsibilities Security Officers help protect people, property, and assets by preventing and deterring crime.

Duties include:

Performing regular and random patrols of assigned properties Monitoring premises and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, or unusual occurrences Enforcing site procedures and access control when required Documenting daily operations and completing incident reports Investigating and reporting security breaches or disturbances Basic Requirements Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Strong communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation Active cell phone Ability to pass a drug screening Physical & Mental Job Requirements Ability to communicate clearly and effectively , especially during emergencies Ability to read and interpret written information in various situations Ability to drive a motor vehicle during the course of duties if required Ability to detect and identify sounds such as alarms, distress calls, or emergency signals in noisy environments Ability to walk, stand, run, climb, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if required Must maintain good mental health and sound judgment to respond quickly in emergencies Must be able to meet state licensing requirements and obtain the appropriate Security Officer license (Unarmed) if required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
