This role involves monitoring premises, managing access control, and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security risks Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed Manage conflict situations using effective conflict management techniques while maintaining safety for all parties involved Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and inspections for reporting and record-keeping purposes Experience Previous experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable Training or certification in first aid and CPR is preferred Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies is advantageous Background in military or security services provides a strong foundation for this role Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations Knowledge of security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans is essential Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is a shared priority.
